Chad Pfister

Chad Pfister is the National President of Beta Sigma Psi National Fraternity. Prior to being elected National President in August 2004, he served as a Regional Vice President of the Fraternity from August 2002 to August 2004. Mr. Pfister represents Beta Sigma Psi in its dealings with the North-American InterFraternity Conference, where he also serves on the Public Relations Committee.
Mr. Pfister is currently employed as Project Specialist to the Vice Chancellor of Administrative Services by the University of Missouri-Columbia. As Project Specialist, Mr. Pfister works closer with the heads of various university departments in implementing plans, programs, and policies which improve the operation of the campus.
Before working for the University of Missouri-Columbia, Mr. Pfister attended the Valparaiso University School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree, graduating Cum Laude. While at Valparaiso, Mr. Pfister served as a legal intern for the school.s Sports Law clinic, working with Olympic and NCAA athletes on a wide area of issues.
Prior to his legal education, Mr. Pfister was Special Projects Coordinator for Mid-America Wireless in Jefferson City, Missouri. As Special Projects Coordinator he oversaw the implementation of a company-wide software conversion, as well as the inventory management for the entire company.
In addition to his Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Pfister also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While at the University of Missouri-Columbia Mr. Pfister was actively involved on campus. He served his fraternity chapter as Treasurer for 2 years, as well as representing the fraternity and the Mizzou Greek Community in his participation in several North American InterFraternity Conference functions. Mr. Pfister also spent 2 years in Marching Mizzou where he served as a Drill Leader and participated in the 2000 Presidential Inauguration.
Mr. Pfister currently resides in Columbia, Missouri with his wife, Marci. When he is not working with Beta Sigma Psi, or spending time with his wife; Mr. Pfister enjoys playing sports particularly golf, softball, and basketball.
