Art Giesler currently is serving as the National Treasurer of Beta Sigma Psi. He is an alumni member of Eta Chapter at the University of Missouri ? Rolla.
Art is also the Director and Regional Chair for Region VIII of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers. He serves on the Board of Directors as well as responsible for the Oklahoma, Arkansas, NW Louisiana, Texas, and Mexico chapters and their members. He has served as the Assistant Regional Chair, and the Regional Vice Chair for Membership Promotion for the Region. He has served in all officer positions in the Fort Worth Chapter as well as numerous committees. He is a member of TC 9.9 Mission Critical Facilities and TC 9.11 Clean Spaces. Awards include the Chapter Service Award and Regional Award of Merit. Mr. Giesler is a graduate of University of Missouri ? Rolla (BSME) and Texas Christian University (MBA). His employment after UMR began with York Air Conditioning in Engineered Equipment in Fort Worth. After completing his MBA Art joined a local manufacturer?s representative, Hydro-Air, Inc. where he was a Vice-President and in charge of the Fort Worth Office. He currently works for PermAlert ESP, Inc. a subsidiary of Perma-Pipe, inc. as Director of Sales.
Civic involvement has consisted of service on the Matteson School Board as a Vice-President and Secretary. In addition to his current service for Beta Sigma Psi and ASHRAE he serves as the Administrative Secretary/Treasurer for Texas Association of Sports Officials ? Fort Worth Chapter of Softball. He is also a Fastpitch umpire for College, High School and Youth.
